The In The Doll World Annual World of Black Dolls Celebration continues! We are excited to introduce you to Ama Gueye, Founder and CEO of Operation Sankofa. Ama's goal is to help children around the world access Black dolls. She believes every child should have a doll that looks like them. As a result, Ama created Operation Sankofa, a program that gives Black dolls to children in Britain, Ghana, and Senegal. The doll-give began as a single-day project and has grown to an annual event
