Welcome to In The Doll World, a podcast and YouTube channel! Today's guest is HeXtian, YouTube sensation, doll artist, and overall, nice guy! In this interview, HeXtian talks about his love for dolls. He begins at his childhood and continues to the present. HeXtian speaks about what influences him as an artist as well as the materials he uses. In addition, HeXtian speaks about living in the turbulence of 2020 and how it affects him as both an artist and a person.
In The Doll World (ITDW) is a doll show created and hosted by Georgette Taylor, former owner and vice president of Big Beautiful Dolls, and Tammy (teej) Fisher, owner of Curiositeej Dolls & Collectibles. Georgette and Tammy created In The Doll World to connect doll professionals and doll lovers from around the world. In The Doll World was initially released in April of 2020 as a podcast. In July of 2020, Georgette and Tammy released In The Doll World's first video--an interview with HeXtian.
Within a month of releasing the first show, Georgette and Tammy realized the show was much more than a doll show--it was also a business show. Almost all of the people they had interviewed for the show were small business owners and most of them were making their living with dolls. As a result, Georgette and Tammy started incorporating business-related questions into the interviews. Today, the intended audience of In The Doll World includes doll lovers, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and people who are interested in listening to interesting stories.
Georgette and Tammy chose to open their YouTube debut by sharing an interview with HeXtian. They chose HeXtian's interview to both celebrate Hextian reaching 1M subscribers and to thank HeXtian for being the first YouTube personality to join In The Doll World as a guest.
